Cocktail Recipe: Whiskey Peach Smash

The holiday season is full of entertaining, so I’d like to share a quick and tasty cocktail. There are a variety of different flavors of honey depending on where each hive is located in the valley. My favorite honey for using in cocktails is our desert wild flower honey. This well-rounded, sweet honey doesn’t over-power the cocktail, but gives it a fresh and naturally sweet flavor.  Easily make these ahead of time so you can enjoy your holiday party!

Whiskey Peach Smash with Local Honey

  • 1 1/2 Ounces Bulleit Bourbon
  • 1 Heaping Bar Spoon Peach Jam
  • 1 Bar Spoon Desert Wild Flower Honey
  • 1 Fat Lemon Wedge
  • 4 to 6 Mint Leaves

(Makes 1 Cocktail)

Muddle the herbs and lemon wedge, then add the jam, honey, and spirit and stir.

Add ice and shake hard for 5 to 10 seconds, depending on the size of your ice.

Strain into a rocks glass over crushed ice.

Garnish with more mint.
