Mesquite Honey is a common Arizona Honey. A classic. Unlike the name suggests, this honey does not have a smokey flavor. Depending on the season, it may be crystallized (having a thick consistency), in the process of crystalizing, or liquid. Mesquite honey has a mild and sweet flavor with a variety of colors and consistencies.
We recommend you try using this honey when making homemade salad dressings, meat glazes, or on oven roasted veggies.
Several of our beekeepers harvest this honey when the flowers bloom in the spring and summer seasons. So, our Mesquite honey will vary based on where the honey is harvested and when it was harvested. We’ve named the honey after the primary plant that the bees are sourcing nectar from when the beekeepers harvest the honey.
